1932- Company was founded in Canada to manufacture electrical parts and sets.

1973- Built-In switch with screw was manufactured.

1976- Manufacturing rocker switch for Starlight series that was widely welcomed in Europe.

1981- King series switch and receptacle for rigid weather was introduced to customers in Middle East and Africa.

1986 - Introduced switches controlled by infrared, digital/sound/optics and switches displaying temperature and humidity.

1987- Introduced Starshower series products of distribution box, air switches and transfer box.

1995- Kanway International Electrical HK LTD was founded in Hong Kong for Far East and Asia markets; Producing deluxe switches and receptacles.

1996- Manufacturing facilities were  built in China to make commercial and residential switches/receptacles for overseas markets.

1998- Started selling to China domestic market and designed electronics in China standards.

2000- Introduced Starshower series of multi-media distribution box that was granted for China patent.

2001- Established China Business Headquarters in Guangzhou and officially entered Chinese markets

2002 –Introduced world-widely used Victory switches and receptacles that were awarded with the first Chinese state-mandatory product certification (3C).

2003- Introduced Victory series switches and receptacles with color options of gold and silver.

2005- Introduced Monarch series products for luxury decor.
